The Whole Truth Booth was born out of the 2016 American Presidential Election.
Co-founders Maribeth Romslo and Nina Sharma were dismayed by the depth of the divides across the country. They initially created the app to collect and listen to stories from varying political ideologies to show that there is more that unites us than divides us.
On December 15th (the 225th anniversary of the ratification of the First Amendment), the Whole Truth Booth launched as a mobile app for iOS and Android.
Nina & Maribeth took to the streets in DC for Inauguration and the Women's March in Washington DC to hear and record all sides of the story. Yes, they heard about politics, but they also heard about people's lives, families, hopes, dreams, and fears.
